Grounding activities help bring you back to the present moment when your thoughts or emotions start to feel overwhelming. They’re about reconnecting with your senses, your surroundings, and your body in gentle, manageable ways.
These activities can be as simple as noticing the textures around you, holding an anchoring pouch, or repeating a grounding mantra. Grounding is especially helpful during moments of anxiety, dissociation, or emotional flooding.
